The Position
Logistics Service Specialist&Procurement
Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
  • Optimise the delivery lead-time, transport costs and the quality service focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Confirm availability of goods to the customer service, discussing availability and collection data with the suppliers and the carriers.
  • Manage relationships with carriers and forwarders, confirming dates, checking invoices of the Logistics providers, claims and export documents.
JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS
  • Contribute to the On Time In Full (OTIF) and customer satisfaction indicators
  • Contribute to the claims KPIs
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe personal environment and acting safely at all times.
  • Fully supports the location health, safety and environmental (EHS) programs by participating in their implementation, maintenance, enforcement and compliance with the company's programs.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assure suppliers booking transport, manage freight orders, issue Delivery Notes and all related documents, manage picking and post goods issue of each sales order shipped
  • Stock control: ensure inventory information is accurate within our system
  • Enter all new products into SAP and update transport cost
  • Manage customer complaints in case root cause analysis impacts Supply Chain.
  • Keep a closer relation with Customer Service to permit customers to receive all information related to the goods status.
  • Create and send the purchase orders to suppliers, follow up these orders confirmations and also ETAs requested vs ETAs confirmed and manage the reception
  • Control supplier deliveries conformity, costs generated by non-conformities (quality, delay)and that these costs are re-invoiced.
  • Define the proper replenishment plans for all products to answer to the customer demand and anticipate the delivery delay from suppliers and manage emergencies with the CS and the manager.
  • Forward all necessary documents to the logistics service providers
  • Send input documents to the accounting department for invoices reconciliation
  • Manage supplier complaints
  • Ensure delivery and stock data reliability in software to proceed to stock reconciliation at the end of the month for accounting purpose.
  • Provide loaders short term and midterm information of daily collections.
  • Follow up and monitor Supply Chain KPIs related to the function.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function
  • SAP user, preferably Hana version is a plus
  • Bachelor or Master in international Business & Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Knowledge, skills, Imerys Leadership Behaviors
  • Strong background in all kinds of transport and export documents.
  • Knowledge of inventory and handling management
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with several stakeholders, Sales, Customer services, warehouses workforce and Imerys suppliers, Finance staff and forwarders / carrier representatives.
  • Rigorous compliance with procedures and processes
  • Ability to work with ERP to execute administrative tasks. SAP
  • Speak English and Italian.
  • Reactivity and stress management during peaks of activity
