Job purpose
As a Senior Controller you will be reporting to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for providing high-quality reporting support to the leadership of EY through a precise, reliable and client-oriented mindset.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and analysis to management
- Understand the accounting policies underlying management results and budgeting principles
- Analyze regional sales and performance reports, understand correlations, identify risks, suggest solutions, and present the results to the leadership
- Continuously strive to automate processes in order to provide more accurate data in the most timely manner
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc business analyses and support business decisions
- Prepare actual vs. plan analyses, investigate and follow up on significant differences by asking for input from the relevant Leaders
- Involvement in financial and operational planning, forecasting
- Involvement in the monthly and annual closing procedure
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in controlling
- University or College degree in economics, accounting, finance
- Knowledge Of IFRS is an advantage
- Fluency in English and in Hungarian is a must
- Reliable software user knowledge (MS Excel, Power Point)
- Sense of responsibility, reliability, accuracy
- Need to be proactive, and professional in terms manner and confidentiality
- Good communication and organizational skills
