Responsibilities:

To strengthen our International Finance team, we are looking for a Team Leader. The responsibilities of this position are:

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of accountants, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-performance levels.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and identify training needs to enhance team skills.

Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documentation prepared by the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure cohesive reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and irregularities in financial records.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Participate in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the accounting function.
• Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Coordinate and communicate with the Subledgers team to ensure reporting accuracy and to develop measurable targets and reporting metrics.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure cohesive reporting.
• International cooperation with auditors, external partners, banks and employees of the subsidiaries.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, standards, and industry trends.
• Encourage continuous learning and professional growth within the accounting team.
